Shira Haimovici is a writer- director, who graduated with distinction her MA in Filmmaking studies at The London Film School. Her graduation film, Summer Shade, screened at dozens of international festivals, was longlisted for the 2020 BIFA Awards, and is available on Short of the Week, where it has over five million views.
In the last few years, Shira was an integral creative part in the establishment of Meta Israel’s studio, where she directed and oversaw reel ads productions for global leading brands including Victoria’s Secret, M&M’S, Schweppes, Cheetos, Playtika, Lightricks, Lenovo, and more.
In parallel, she has directed music videos for artists such as Yael Zalinger, Folly Tree, and Dudu Tassa.In 2025, Shira directed and shot the third season of the web series SoldOut, which accumulated hundreds of thousands of views on YouTube. She is currently developing a television adaptation of the series alongside writing her first feature film.
Shira’s work is defined by a combination of strategic thinking and a deep understanding of audiences, alongside a colorful narrative, an ironic cinematic language and a strong emphasis on character, rhythm, and visual aesthetics.
