Assaf Assouline is a director, screenwriter, and creative, and a graduate of the Sam Spiegel Film School. Over the past decade, he has created, written, and directed commercials and campaigns in Israel and internationally for major brands such as Doritos, Cheetos, Samsung, Pizza Hut, and Fiverr, combining creative concept development, scriptwriting, character-based storytelling, humor, and a distinctive visual language.
Alongside his commercial work, Assaf is also a music video director and has directed videos for leading artists including Shlomi Shaban, Hanan Ben Ari, Daniela Spector, and Eviatar Banai. The music video for Eviatar Banai’s “Always Before the Rain,” directed by Assaf, won the Best Music Video award in 2016.
In parallel, Assaf pursues personal cinematic projects: he creates short films and feature-length films as both a screenwriter and director. His debut feature film, A Horse Without a Name, was released in cinemas across Israel in 2025. His short film No More Room for Fragile Things received support from the Israeli Film Fund and is scheduled to be filmed in 2026. His work combines conceptual thinking, human emotion, humor, and a distinctive cinematic tone.
