Avner Mayer was born in Tel – Aviv, Israel. After completing his BA at the “Minshar” Art School he went on to get his MFA in Cinematography at The American Film Institute in Los Angeles.
Working across the Narrative and commercial disciplines his work has been featured in various festivals around the world including:
Venice International Film Festival, Bussan Film Festival, Montreal Film Festival, Stockholm Film Festival, Clermont Ferrand Short Film Festival, Jerusalem Film Festival and Tel- Aviv International Film Festival.
Fluent in both English and Hebrew. He currently resides in Tel-Aviv, working both in israel and the usa.
