Dmitry Khmelnitsky is a multidisciplinary artist, Founder of the WUL Magazine and WUL Collective Platform. He began his creative journey as a designer many years ago, working as a Head of Design and Art Director in several startups. While collaborating with various artists worldwide, he gradually expanded his horizons both professionally and artistically and began experimenting with video in various manifestations of the art industry. After his debut premiere of his art project ‘If I’m Not There’ in the CCA Tel Aviv-Yafo, Dmitry became interested in different ways to convey an idea through editing, which eventually led him to his day-to-day career as an editor. Inspired by mastodons like Paolo Pasolini, Kim Ki-Duk, Wong Kar-wai, Jan-Luc Godard, Alain Rene, Akira Kurosawa, and many others, he constantly explores non-conventional approaches to telling a story through montage.
