Maor is a writer and director of commercials and music videos. He discovered his passion for film when he was only 16 years old, winning the “Born Advertiser” competition with the help of his father’s home video camera.
While still studying in the Film Department at Sapir College, he won the cinematography award at Cinema South for his work on “Upper Lip,” a short film that participated in the Munich Film Festival, Dublin, and more. From there, he quickly transitioned to directing. In his last year of studies, he began filming at Kan Digital, where he created web series such as “Three Steps” and “Made in Israel,” and was a key partner in contributing a large portion of the department’s content.
His photographic background and experience enable Maor to extract emotion from every story, to transform any script into a clever and aesthetic cinematic expression. His command of the craft gives his work a unique fingerprint that’s all his own.
