Orit Ovadia - TAL NATHAN
Orit Ovadia

Orit started working in television at the age of 22 when she was involved in the production of “Good Evening with Guy Pines.” There, she fell in love with video editing. From there, she continued to study film at Sapir College. Her goal was to learn how to tell a story, understand character essence, catharsis, language, cinematography, directing, and, most importantly, convey emotion to the viewer. This passion and love only grew, and during her studies, she began working on “Survivor” as an assistant editor. Then, the opportunity arose to become part of the senior editing team for reality TV shows in Israel. Over the course of about a decade, she edited six seasons of “Survivor,” “The Amazing Race,” “Beauty and the Geek,” “X Factor,” and more. Over time, she sought additional skills in editing, studying editing and directing.

Orit was part of the large promo departments of Keshet, Reshet, and Kan 11, editing and directing campaigns, launches, and central marketing for these channels, ranging from investigative series to reality shows. Some of the productions include: The Commander, Sha’at Na’ila, Being with Her, Fact, Dancing with the Stars, Big Brother, The Amazing Race, Ninja Israel, Exposure, and more. The extensive experience she gained in the promo departments and reality TV gave her a wealth of tools and skills, particularly in musical editing and very fast-paced work.
