Roy Kanevsky is a writer-director and Creative Director at Simply, with over a decade of experience creating narrative-driven work across film and advertising.

His short films have received film-fund support and screened internationally. He recently won the pitching competition at the Haifa International Film Festival with Retreat, his debut feature, now in development.

His work is precise and visually driven, built around the distinct point of view of each story, with a particular interest in overlooked characters, the oddness of everyday life, and family dynamics.
