Shai Yehezkel was born in 1978 and raised in Ramat Efal, Israel. He majored in photography at the Ben Zvi High school in Kiryat Ono.
During his military service, Shai served as IDF Photography Spokesperson. In 1998 he participated in the assistance of the Medical Corps of Kosovo refugees in Macedonia.
In 1998, Yehezkel took the famous photograph of the girl “Shiran Franco” extracted from under the rubble of the earthquake in Turkey.
In 1999 he photographed the finding of the “Dakar” submarine at sea near Crete. Between 2000 and 2004 he was a photographer’s assistant helped Eshel Ezer.
In 2004 opened his own fashion and advertising photography studio .
Today Shai Yehezkel is a leading photographer taking pictures for magazines, advertising agencies and clients in the fashion industry. In September 2013 Shai was selected by the website “Web Xnet” as the busiest and most influential photographer in the field of fashion in Israel.
Currently, Shai lives in Moshav Hamad with his wife, Emily, and his children Ariel, Itamar, Eliya and Omer.
