Born and raised in the Congo (DRC) to an Israeli father and Congolese mother, Yoav is a fluent French, English, and Hebrew speaker who’s developed a unique style that is all his own. His journey in visual storytelling started when Yoav was just nine years old, seeing his favorite anime series edited into an eye-catching music video. His curiosity to discover how that was done eventually led him to earn a BA in VFX and Animation from MG University in India.
Since then, Yoav has lent his talent and vision to projects of all sizes and types: commercials, music videos, digital campaigns, and narrative films. His work as a cinematographer and colorist can be seen in brand ads for Femina, Almarie, H&M, and Samsung, among others.
Yoav is a self-made creative who’s as passionate and enthusiastic about storytelling now as when he was that fascinated nine-year-old transfixed by the magic on the screen in front of him. It’s that passion, and his wide-ranging cultural experience, that give him an edge when developing a fresh new take that can elevate a production to the next level, and he’s eager to continue that journey with any and all projects that come his way.
