Cinematographer for films, series, music videos, and commercials, graduate of the Film School at Sapir College. Winner of the 2024 Docaviv Festival award for Best Cinematography for the film Tay-Land. In every project Or shoots, from feature films to short commercials, his love for creating a unique visual concept is evident. One that serves the story and creates a distinct cinematic language for each project. As part of his philosophy that cinematography is an inseparable part of the narrative, Or uses the camera to build and shape the character, making cinematography a powerful tool for character development no less than action or dialogue. He has shot numerous narrative and documentary films that have participated in prestigious festivals in Israel and around the world, including the Toronto Film Festival, Sundance, BFI London, CPH:DOX in Copenhagen, Jerusalem Film Festival, Haifa Film Festival, and film festivals in Rome, Los Angeles, Athens, Paris, and more. He has worked as a cinematographer on leading drama series including Lilith’s Treatment, The German, The Heiress, Eretz Nehederet, The Conductor, Michael 2, and others. Alongside his work in film and television, Or shoots music videos for leading artists such as Asaf Amdursky & Yirmi Kaplan, Dana Berger, Marina Maximilian, Gilad Ka’ahneh, and Jimboy J. He has also shot numerous commercials for major brands including Reebok, Adidas, Adika, XL, IKEA, Strauss, promos for Keshet broadcasts, and more. |
