His feature films include the cult hit The Last Band in Lebanon and the 2021 blockbuster Saving Shuli—a wildly successful comedy shot in Colombia and Tel Aviv that became the fourth most-watched Israeli film of all time.Now days, Ben is preparing to release the highly anticipated sequel, Saving Shuli  San, shot and produced in Japan. In July 2025, Saving Shuli San-the highly anticipated sequel to the Israeli box-office hit-premiered after being filmed and produced in Japan. The film brought a fresh mix of international scale, local humor, and heart. Since its release, it has already been watched by over 1,300,000 viewers in cinemas across the country, making it one of the most-watched films in Israeli history. For this achievement, Ben Bachar received a special commendation at the Ophir Awards, honoring his unique contribution to Israeli cinema.
